For more than 30 minutes, the participants of the International Quality Summit posed for the media photographers.
This was a genuine multinational event with the participation of companies from many nations.
Various representatives of the diplomatic corps in the United States participated in this event as well.
As Business Initiative Direction’s President, Jose E. Prieto, stated: "The International Quality Summit hosts companies ranked among the fastest growing in the world. Their dedication to quality ensures their business strategy and a privileged position in the market." This is the case of Bianfishco from Vietnam, which was among the designated companies. All the speeches were offered in English, French, Spanish and Russian.
The Gala Dinner started once the commencement speeches were over. Those who are familiar with Business Initiative Directions value this international organization’s work oriented towards awareness of the importance of implementing quality concepts in services and production processes.
The International Quality Summit was a great success thanks to the quality of the companies which participated. These companies target innovation, technology, as well as the constant training and development of their human resources. They are aware that the process of quality improvement requires motivation which can lead to an important increase in company prestige, promoting the recognition of its services and the discipline of commitment in their communities.
Among the important companies attending this event was Kemerovsky Autocentr Kamaz belonging to Kamaz Group, the largest truck producer (93,600 trucks a year) in Russia. With an annual turnover of $1.5 billion, Kamaz ranks 11 th among the leading world heavy truck manufacturers, employing more than 59,000 people. As the most significant dealer of Kamaz, Kemerovsky Autocentr started its activity in 2004 in Siberia and the Urals region. Kamaz Group is the 18th largest company in the Russian Federation.
The presence of AAA Assurance Corporation, from Vietnam, should also be highlighted. Providing a wide range of insurance services, AAA’s annual turnover ascends to $15.5 million. Among its shareholders, BankInvest Group and Eximbank stand out. Special attention should be paid to Muthanna Investment Company from Kuwait. Headquartered in New York, Muthana operates and manages investments and real estate projects in the USA and the Unit€ Kingdom in collaboratio with Citibank, Deutsche Bank and ]P Morgan. Its market capitalization ascends to $240 million.. Three important educational centers wer present at this Conventi in New York: Universida del Este from Puerto Rio one of the most importa educational centers in the country, received the International Qualit) Summit Award in the Diamond category. Part of Sistema Universitario Ana G. Mendez, it is well known for its contributi( to society through the pursuit of education, learning and research at the highest levels of excellence. Its reputatim has been endorsed by numerous awards and by the quality of its graduates. Another outstanding university from Mexico, Universidad de la Musica G. Martell, was recognized for its strong commitment to e,’(cellence. This makes it a leading university, providing professional music education. The Southeast Asian educational system was represent by limkokwing University of Creative Technology. The field of energy was representE by Haek-I Shinararutiun from Armenia in the area of nuclear and hydroelectric power. Since 1969, this e,’(ceptional company has been one of the leaders, in the former Soviet Republics, in the construction of power plants. The world of cinema as well was present at this Convention through Syrian Art Production. Its pioneer film production activity and numerous TV projects were recognized by the Selection Committee of the International Quality Summit Award.
