In the meeting, Mr Luong Le Phuong introduced some specific social and economic characteristics of Mekong Delta. In addition, he also emphasized the two main sectors of the region are: fish and rice.

He also appreciated the positive contribution of the Norwegian Government to the development of  Vietnamese Agriculture and Aquaculture, especially in training managers, cooperation on technology transfer to produce vaccines for fish…

At the meeting, Mr Luong Le Phuong has emphasize to the Norwegian delegation that Bianfishco is not only one of the best companies in quality management but also the first private business of Vietnam building the Pangasius Research Institute. Besides that success, Bianfishco did the social works very well such as sharing the difficulties with the poor and paying a lot of attention to the lives of the company’s employees… Therefore, The Ministry of Vietnamese Agriculture and Rural Development has chosen Bianfishco as the typical company in Mekong Delta to introduce with friends in the world. Mr Luong Le Phuong also hoped that The Norwegian Ambassador will be the bridge to promote the cooperation in training managers, producing vaccines and introducing other companies to Bianfishco in particular as well as Vietnamese seafood companies in general.

The Ambassador of Norway recorded the desired cooperation of Vietnamese Deputy Minister and the leaders of Bianfishco.“You have had the correct guideline in doing business, that is to produce high quality products, so we will also cooperate with your company by that guideline” – he comments.

Norway is a very famous country about the ability to manage, especially in the field of Aquaculture. Moreover, this country is known throughout the world on all kinds of vaccines to prevent desease for fish. So this friendly visit of the delegation is the best opportunity for Bianfishco accepting the most modern technology in fishery industry and it also promises that there will be a lot of great partners to come to Bianfishco.
